So I am presently kind of obsessed with clear heat
embossing my images and then water colouring them :) I got this new stamp from
Wild Rose Studio (their images are made to be coloured, and they look sooo good
in watercolour) which fits so many occasions, and was great for a baby card. And
as the Monday Challenge of SSS is asking for our favourite techniques, here it
is, I am entering it.
Friends of mine just got a new baby so I had to use
this cute baby elephant to congratulate them.
I coloured him with Distress inks and Spectrum Aqua markers. I also heat
embossed the very edges of the layer with Metallic Platinum embossing powder by
Wow, same one I used for the sentiment. I wish I'd loosen up and colour it even more watercolour-y
but what are you going to do, learning and trying one image at a time.
I also Wink of Stella-ed the balloons and was ready
:) I kept it simple, the accent being on my favourite technique- heat embossing
and then water colouring:)
