Butterfly love- SSS Wednesday Challenge

OK. I couldn't help myself and I just put together one more card for the SSS Wednesday blog challenge with the leftovers of the 'Thanks a Bunch' card I posted earlier tonight. It is a very simple card, using the same exact materials.

I had half an embossed background left and I die cut a Delia Butterfly by Memorybox. I layered in on top of another butterfly that I had also embossed with the same flower folder previously (when I was testing my new dies and Big Shot - thank god I save everything, right).

I also had a small die cut heart from the previous card as well as the next size up heart  from that MFT stack die set (again from testing before). I just layered those on top of the butterfly, popped up the small heart and glued flat the bigger heart for some interest and dimension. I put the whole assembly on top of a pretty sparkly pink card base, that I though went very well with the purple big butterfly. I also Wink of Stella-ed the two hearts and the bottom dark red butterfly to tie in the card base.

I was missing something so I glued a tinny tiny pink button in the middle of the small heart. I decided to leave the card without a sentiment on the front. I will stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card when I decide to use it as it is an any occasion card.

Sorry for the short and hasty post but there really wasn't much to it:)

See you soon, Toodles!
