Inspiration image rummage #1

The first inspirational image in, hopefully, a long series is one I found not long ago. It is of a mosaic staircase mural. It is so beautiful and I already have 3 ideas for a card.  I had little time and decided to realize the easiest one. However, I am not done with this photo!

What first stuck me when I saw this staircase what how the stairs, when looked from below, connected the pattern into an image. I wanted to do something similar so I cut pieces of colored card-stock lined them so they formed on sheet and stamped my image with Versamark because I wanted to clear emboss it.

I decided on clear embossing because I really love the tone on tone look and how the extra fine powder makes the image darker and glossy.
When gluing the strips on my card base cut the ends into different lengths of banners and spaced them, leaving about 2-3 mm distance in between.

I stamped my sentiment in Versamark for a watermark effect. It shows really well on the craft colored card I chose.

Supplies used:
Versamark clear ink
Aladine Fluers stamp set
Wow! ectra fine embossing powder
Ranger Heat it tool

 Have a great day. Toodles!
